Vocational rehabilitation is also known as VR It is the department of labor program that helps disabled workers get back to work after a compensable injury or the onset of an occupational disease.
This rehabilitation program helps the job seekers to understand the barriers associated with their disability, health conditions and injury. It also helps them to manage these barriers.
The vocational rehabilitation program assists, job seekers to build their work capacity and get a suitable job by avoiding re-injury.

- are aged between 14 and 65 years
- have a disability, injury or health condition that affects on their ability to get and/or keep a job
- have a health condition that is managed well enough to participate in a vocational rehabilitation program
